It’s important in business, to know what it is that you’re selling.
We never sold wine tours, per se.
We only sold opportunities for social interaction.
Opportunities to gather with old friends and meet some new ones.
Opportunities to celebrate relationships and milestones.
I started Mudgee Explorer Tours in 2016 because I saw a need for people to have more opportunities like these. Because relationships are the backbone of life.

I took a lot of joy in facilitating and weaving relationships, and Mudgee Explorer Tours was the perfect platform for this.
A pleasant side-effect of this business was that it supported other local businesses..
Namely, wineries.
I loved having a little team of staff who would come and go, collecting their buses and stopping for a chat while they were at the office.
And I loved meeting our customers and turning them into friends.
I miss my friends in the wineries, too.

The months from August 2019 through till Covid-19 hit in March 2020, were tough.
We had an employee pass away suddenly.
Then widespread bushfires throughout Australia, slowed down domestic travel significantly.
By early March we were looking like we were back on our feet.
Then the dreaded Covid-19 shut down tourism completely.

Aside from the fact that so many of us have lost our incomes, what’s sadder is that we have lost all that face to face human interaction that we thrived on.
Digital communication has its limits. It cannot replace the warmth of spending time together and sharing stories and experiences.
My hope is that someday we will be free to interact in person again, and build relationships that are stronger than ever.
Hope to see you all again in future.
Love Bronny xx

That is so nice. Stay healthy. I think when this is over we'll have to come out for a night.

Beautifully said, my family and I have our eye on that lovely 6 bedroom house you have for holiday rental so you will be hearing from us later this year

You’ll be back bigger and better than before. Stay safe xox

Oh I hear you bronny. It is is frustrating and unbelievable to think that you can’t just go and have these interactions anymore. It is temporary and it will pass. That is what keeps me going through it. And whilst it is happening, I want to stay strong and positive and make the most of this time that we have, for it is rare and may never happen again. I know that’s easy to say when I still have a job, a house, and relative freedom, but I feel it is my duty to spread the positive vibrations around to as many people as I can. I know it may not help everyone’s situation but it might help their state of mind, which I so much more important. Xxx

Beautiful words Bronny. It’s been tough..there will be much to celebrate after this! Nik x

Stay strong you’ll bounce back. Bigger and better than ever

What a lovely message! Great way of expressing your concerns ... in fact all of our concerns for the future. A message from Somerset.

Such a difficult few months but you always come bouncing back stronger than ever, as I know you will in the future. Look after yourself till then! 💕

Stay safe and stay healthy Bronny, see you on the other side xx

It won't be forever Bron.... Hang in there... 💜🙏

Hang in there Bron it will get better!!

That’s so nice Bronny 🌷

We’re keeping our distance, but still having fun.
Hang in there, we’ll be taking you back on tour before you know it.
In the meantime, enjoy this footage taken early this morning at Castle Rocks, in the Mudgee Region.
Miss you. Xx

Miss you Bronny x

We’re taking a little break.
In light of current world challenges, our tours are having a snooze for the time being.
Who knows, we may take a break and come back in the same form.
We may transform into something different.

Here’s the good news: Our group accommodation at Mudgee Explorer Lodge, is still operating.
I’ll update you if conditions change.

For now, I’m kicking back with a wine, looking forward to my first weekend off in quite a while.
Time to reflect, perhaps redefine, and getting ready to bring a new business to a changed world.

Cheers to our customers and staff, thankyou for your support.

Cheers
