Saturday full day wine tour with this gorgeous group of 10!
There was something for everyone at each of the 6 cellar doors we visited, with Small Winemakers and Peterson's were a standout. Following a fabulous tasting at Peterson's there was still plenty of time to frolick amongst the vines.
Thank you for choosing Mudgee Explorer Tours, it was a pleasure to host your tour.

Love a bit of Vanessa Carlton

Tina Barlow this is the Mudgee wine tour & look.....they have a piano....

What a fun day out with this quintet of school besties from Wollongong.
Alyssa, Emma, Kate, Kez and Amy were all first timers to Mudgee, and they weren't disappointed with the friendly and exceptional service provided by our region's cellar door personnel today.
They enjoyed many wines from .....

๐Ÿท Burnbrae
๐Ÿฅ‚ Thistle Hill
๐Ÿท Small Winemakers
๐Ÿฅ‚ Petersons
๐Ÿท Bunnamagoo

And devoured a scrumptious lunch with wine tastings at Walter Wines.

We love showing our visitors around this great part of NSW, and love it even more when they entertain us as well.

Thankyou for touring with us today girls.

An afternoon out with besties, Bronwen and Tanya.
We tried โ€œthe Tawny that makes a willy wagtail attack an emuโ€, over at the Small Winemakers Centre, saw a mumma bird protecting her chicks in the nest, at Slow Fox, and loaded up on Honeycomb at Vinifera.
And bought wine, too, of course! Cheers ๐Ÿท

Itโ€™s been almost four years since I first came to Mudgee.
I packed up my things and set out on an adventure. Iโ€™d burned out my enthusiasm for the city and corporate life. I wanted to go bush.
The first thing I noticed when I moved here was how friendly and inclusive the people were. Small towns have a way of wrapping their arms around you and making you feel at home.

Mudgee Explorer Tours was born from a desire to provide people with an opportunity to connect with other people, and with nature. I started out taking all the tours personally, and enjoyed facilitating that outbreath as my guests relaxed into the country setting.

Fast forward four years, and my role in my fledgling business has changed. Iโ€™m now more concerned with taking good care of my team of tour guides, so that they can take good care of you. Thereโ€™s now a guesthouse too. Itโ€™s called Mudgee Explorer Lodge, and itโ€™s built on the same principles of encouraging human connection in a pretty environment. A great place for friends to hang out and enjoy a weekend together, in the heart of Mudgee.

I love fostering the relationships with our winery partners. Our winery partners are the wineries where we reckon you get the best service and human connection. Real country hospitality, as well as great wines.
Come and stay, come and play. We have five minibuses for tours, and a house that sleeps 12-14 guests. Reconnect. Unwind. Exhale.

Saturday afternoon birthday celebrations with Rhys and 13 mates. We visited Petersons, Eloquesta and finished up with a fabulous tasting in the shady gardens at Slow Fox, where the group order cheese platters to enjoy with the wonderful wine.
Thank you all for exploring with Stephen and I. And id like to give a big shout out to the Libation Technician's manning the cellar doors for putting a smile on everyone's faces with their fun banter and knowledge.

Pics of our Saturday's shenanigans with Angie and 15 of her nearest and dearest!
Stephen and I loved hosting this group of family and friends while they enjoyed the offerings from 3 fabulous cellar doors, and it was wonderful to meet Oriana and Luis who boarding our magic bus for the fourth time! Oriana's mum and dad are visiting from Venezuela and loving the place their daughter and family call home. Proudest parents you've ever met! At Eloquesta, owner Stef slipped straight into speaking to the group in fluent Spanish, and from there we were one big happy Explorer family for the morning.
Huge thank you for choosing us to be your tour guides, and who knows, maybe we'll see you all again in the future.

Sam was raised in Mudgee so decided to invite 7 of her Sydney friends to show off her previous back yard. They were also joined by Nick and Jess and the 10 became one big happy group of new friends.
A full day of wine tasting was enjoyed as well as a delicious lunch at di Lusso Estate.
Honored to have to all tour with Mudgee Explorer Tours.
