Say hello to Bronny Parry – the founder of Mudgee Explorer. One of the Mudgee region’s longest-running wine tour operators, Bronny has built a thriving business, which is now home to 8 buses, multiple tour guides and two accommodation offerings.
Inspired by a trip to Peru and the genuine kindness and quality service of the Peruvian people, Bronny returned to Central West NSW and established Mudgee Wine Explorer Tours with the same ethos – a commitment to bringing a sense of connection and joy to her business, and offering a fun, friendly and first-rate offering.
Fast forward several years, and Bronny’s dreams have become a reality – she has enjoyed continued business growth, expanding her bus fleet and her team, and adding accommodation to the Explorer offering.
Meet Our Team
Mudgee Wine Explorer Tours is home to several hard-working, loyal Explorer guides, who are passionate about the region and love giving their customers a fun-filled day out.
Bronny
The leader of the team. Bronny is the #bosslady responsible for overall organisation & the ‘fun tours’ ethos.
Philip
An all-rounder. He’s a wealth of local knowledge & highly entertaining.
Sorcha
Driver + admin superstar! The master of organisation & efficiency.
Joe
The karaoke driver. Fun, fun, fun – expect plenty of singing & dancing.
FAQs
The full day Mudgee Wine Tours go for six and a half hours, and you’ll see five to six Mudgee Wineries.
The half day tours go for three hours and you’ll see three Mudgee Wineries
You can request Mudgee wineries that you would like to include, when booking your tour. We will include your requests if practical, taking into consideration other guests on your tour, and it also depends on the availability of the wineries and their location.
Lunch will be either in a Mudgee winery, or in one of our local pubs.
Please budget around $20 PP for lunch.
Mudgee Wine Explorer Tours run every day of the year, with the exception of three days that we are closed: Christmas Day, New Years Day, and 23rd August (in memory of past team members. )
There is a minimum number of 2 people needed for the tour to go ahead.
We pick up and drop off from your accommodation in Mudgee, if you are in town or up to 7kms out. If your accommodation is further than 7km from town, call us to discuss. On less busy days we will pick up further out of town.
There will mostly be wine, but we can include olive tasting, honey tasting and liqueur tastings too, on request.
We use mini buses so they are more intimate and personal. Our minibuses seat 11 guests.
We partner with wineries that charge $10 or less for tasting fees.
While we try to keep tasting fees at a minimum for you, the tasting fees are at your own expense. Some wineries refund the tasting fee if you purchase wine.
Private tours can be arranged if you buy 10 seats on the minibus. Otherwise all our tours are shared experiences.
No! It is against the law. Luckily you won’t spend too much time on the bus. We supply water and chips for you.
