Sunday sipping for Stacey and Malcolm! I had the pleasure of hosting these guys on a delightful tasting of Mudgee Wines. Included in the Sunday package was a meet and greet with almost every wine dog in the region! Robert Stein was our first stop and definately a stand out. As always Mansfield Wines welcomed us warmly, and Iain imparted some pearls of wisdom while he introduced his Portuguese style Wines - and Suzi Dog - over some lively conversation. Small Winemakers tantalised the tastebuds with the sweeter bubbles for Stacey, while the Shiraz just seemed to follow Malcolm into the bus! Next up some Lunch and live vibes perched up on the hill at Moothi Estate. Now, Lets Go Weeest *pet shop boys voice* Burnbrae Wines! Miff treated my guests to a tasting and i think the Moscato was an all round stand out for our sweet tooth Stacey. Over to Thistle Hill where Stacey and i took a breather and had a fabulous chat while Malcolm tried the organic offerings. A little more time and Stacey and i could have solved the worlds problems i reckon, but alas it was time to go! Honey Haven! The varieties of Mead were enjoyed and luckily that enjoyment comes bottled for a later time so thats just what they did! Then a delightful honey hand scrub and moisturiser while chatting with Melody about all things bees. Last stop Burrendulla Wines where Stacey was intrigued by the info provided on some of the Mudgee Homesteads while Ted and Malcolm had a yarn and both enjoyed a tasting of the new Vintage Shiraz together. Whoops did someone say Mudgee Shiraz? Ill make room in the bus! Thanks for sharing your day with me guys. It was such a pleasure to meet you both. ...
What a fantastic start to a new week. Monday morning tastings started early with Annette and Aus from Wollongong and my local friend Vicki. We zig zagged our way to three of our regions cellar doors before finishing off at a Distillery. Many stories were shared and enjoyed as well as the local wines. Don't be strangers guys and please come back and visit again soon. We loved having you. 🍷

A great day in Mudgee with a fantastic bunch aboard the magic booze bus. Our day began with an impressive start at #HuntingtonEstate wines shortly followed thereafter by #ShortSheep and #ElephantMountain wineries. We learned a great deal about oak and the important role it plays in the wine making process before lunching at #WalterWines where our numbers thereafter swelled considerably. Despite the large crowd, we took in the flavors with delight at #MansfieldWines before finishing the day with a tasting in the garden at #HeslopWines. Thanks everyone for making today as memorable as it was enjoyable. We hope to see you again at #MudgeeExplorerTours! ...
“10-4 Rubber Ducky I think we got ourselves a convoy!”
The sun was shining full force the 3 musketeers hit the road for the Elders Insurance Christmas Party! First stop #Petersons starting the tastings with a sparkling white and working our way through to a sparkling red! As they merrily chatted away getting to know each other from other branches! #bakerwilliamsdistillery was a hit with the liqueurs being sipped sweetly. With #smallwinemakerscentre finished our tour off with the ports being the hit of the day, sharing amazing platters over a glass of wine among new friends. Thankyou Elders for joining #MudgeeExplorerTours we hope to see you next time the Christmas party comes to town! ...
Colin and Margo, a Young couple, joined us today for a wine tasting tour in Mudgee. Seasoned, international veterans of the cellar door experience, we toured some of the finest wineries on offer in Mudgee, starting with #Bunnamagoo, then #HuntingtonEstate, followed by #RobertStein's and lunch at #MoothiEstate all of which exceeded our expectations in one way or another. It wasn't long after eating that the food coma began to set it. So we changed down a gear and enjoyed tastings at #ArilEstate and #HoneyHaven before calling it a day. We hope you both had as much fun with us at #MudgeeExplorerTours as we did having you. Best of luck on your travels and we hope to see you again soon. ...
Another great day, with perfect weather and wonderful people. Liz and Steve, from New Zealand were thoroughly impressed by the Shiraz and Fortified Wines on offer at #RobertStein's, #HuntingtonEstate and #Peterson's. We didn't find many Kangaroos, we did find plenty of doggos, however. After lunch, we were joined by Sydney siders, Peter and Juile before we set off for tastings at #Bunnamagoo, #ShortSheep and finishing up at #SmallWinemakerCenter. Thanks to everyone who joined us today at #MudgeeExplorerTours. We hope to see you again next time. ...
Three of our regions fantastic cellar doors put on a great afternoon for my Explorer Bus clients on the first day of Summer. Harman and Lucy were first time visitors to our beautiful Mudgee, while Oscar and his Belgium 🇧🇪 bunch are third time clients with "Mudgee Explorer Tours" . They all jumped on board and firmed friendships for an afternoon of laughs, tastings and questions of winemaking answered. Hope to see you all again, you are always welcome. 🐘 Elephant Mountain 🍷 Small Winemakers Centre 🐎 Gooree Park ...
A pinch of wine in the punch on the first day of the month was on the bill today as we set off under the first official Summer sky in Mudgee. We hope that the precedent for Summer was set today with Doggos Galore! It seemed that almost every winery had their very own kanine welcoming committee who were, of course, welcomed very warmly by our party of intrepid adventures. We indulged in a lunch overlooking the Cudgegong Valley at #Moothi Estate with pupper wrestling on show for our enjoyment over a grazing platter and a glass of wine. We capped off the day with a round of Totem Tennis at #Burrundulla as well. Cheers to all who joined us at #MudgeeExplorerTours, we hope to see you again soon! ...
What an amazing day full of laughter and sarcastic jokes! This group of explorers certainly kept us on our toes but all the worth while! Two groups came together to find out they are technically neighbours in Sydney! Half day tour completely smashed with a couple extra stops along the way! What an amazing way to bring in the weekend! Thanks for joining us today at #mudgeeexplorertours

A marvelous day in Mudgee for a wine tour. We managed to sneak one in before the heavens opened up while the sky was still blue. Very important research was conducted by our intrepid explorers at #RobertOatley's, #Vinifera, #BakerWilliamsDistillery, and #Burrundulla with an exclusive tasting at #Heslop and a leisurely lunch taking in the Cudgegong Valley view at #MoothiEstate. Cheers to all the explorers on our investigative mission today at #MudgeeExplorerTours! ...
Reflections from the Chief Exploring Officer.... 2018 has been a year of putting better systems in place, in our start up business. It's our third year of operation, and we reached a stage where we needed to tidy up!
This year, Mudgee Explorer Tours transitioned from taking all our bookings manually, to a combination of manual and online bookings. So I get less phone calls while I'm in the shower. Phew!
We got some extra admin help by hiring our Communications Queen, Carine. She also helps maintain and clean our buses.
We addressed our lack of parking space for our growing fleet, by renting a car yard with a really cool office, in a train carriage. It's on the corner of Lewis and Mortimer St, and it also serves as a base for our customers to come in and see us.
The accommodation at Mudgee Explorer Lodge was launched this year, and is now booking out every weekend and some weekdays.
This year I also navigated a changing wine industry, and decided on my place in it. I've estimated conservatively, that our customers have spent $400,000+ on wine purchases, during their tours in the last 12 months. That figure is set to double in the next 12 months, as we expand to meet demand. We partnered more closely with the wineries who take exceptional care of us, and left some others behind.
And we finished up November with a rocking Christmas party in Orange for the Explorer team, over two days.
2019 is set to be exciting! Now that we've established solid systems, the goal of 2019 is grow, grow, grow. There will be some innovative approaches to getting our branding out there too! But first, I'm off for a personal getaway, while the team at Mudgee Explorer Tours keep the party rolling.
Here's to a great year. Special thanks to: The Explorer Team Our Winery Partners My dad, George Local accommodation providers who refer customers to us Girls Getaways Australia by Air Fly Pelican Mudgee Helicopters Mudgee Tourism And our wonderful customers, who keep coming back.
Its so exciting to be a part of such an amazing team, and part of Company that is fast evolving to meet customer needs.

Congratulations on a great team Bronny.
Good on ya Bronwyn Parry ! It’s a great business with great personal touch. I’m really happy to hear you will expand as the fantastic wine in Mudgee expands likewise. Look forward to getting back there soon!
Wow, all in 12 months... you definitely need this well deserved break. Thank you for looking after visitors to Mudgee Region 🙌
Good luck I hope you continue to get the support of the locals. My Husband and I enjoyed a wine tour last weekend. Bec is a great person to have on your team. I like the idea of your little buses. It makes it easier for the patrons to get the service at each stop. Big buses means lots of people that won’t get the friendly service that they deserve. 👍🏻
Happy Christmas to you to Bronwyn enjoy the season
So happy for you Bronny!! Inspiring stuff.
Wow bronny! You’ve done so well! What an awesome little growing business you’ve got. 2019 is looking great!
Very impressive. Also great to take stock and figure out what works for you and what doesn't. Tweaking the formula and adjusting to conditions is part of any great business plan. You've done incredibly well! Congrats xxx
Wishing you continuing success in 2019 and beyond !! 👍👌👏🏼
Impressive!!! Well done to you & your team 🥂
Love your work Bronny. Merry Christmas to you and your team. See you in 2019!

Another full bus of wine tasters boarded with Explorer Tours today. They are all visiting Mudgee to celebrate with Lynnette Adams for her 70th Birthday. Wines were enjoyed and many purchases were made from our choices of cellar doors today, as well as lunch platters from Dad's Deli. Lots of laughs, Thanks for joining us today everyone. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNNE 🎉 ...

Good cheer and sunny skies presided over today's tour, as friendships were forged and fortified. The day's proceedings began at #FirstRidge Wines as we gazed out at the sprawling view over glasses of Italian varietals paired with locally grown olives. At our next stop, #Burrundulla, we were enchanted by the elegant beauty of the Cellar Door and equally impressed with their award winning wines. Following a brief jaunt across town, we enjoyed a garden tasting in the shade at #Heslop Micro Winery followed by obligatory photo opportunities in the vineyard. #WalterWines was where we enjoyed lunch and a change of pace, their range of vintages winning new fans among our party. We wound down the afternoon at the #BlueWren Tasting Room where a flight of wine and mirthful conversation were enjoyed by all. We'd like to thank everyone who joined us today at #MudgeeExplorerTours for such a fantastic day in the sun in Mudgee. We hope to see you again soon. ...
