About Us

METMountain

Mudgee Explorer Tours started operating in June 2016, with one explorer and one minibus. Now with eight staff and five minibuses, we’re having more fun than ever!

Mudgee Wine Tours are our speciality. We’re Mudgee’s premier wine tour company for a reason. 100% relationship-based, we take you only to the wineries where you are treated as #1. Because great service is our number one priority. We choose staff who genuinely love people, and treat you like friends. So you’ll come away with memories to treasure for life.

While we try to take you to wineries where tasting fees are kept at a minimum, please budget $5 per person per stop, for tasting fees.

Stay with us at Mudgee Explorer Lodge, and receive a 10% discount off your Mudgee Wine Tour.

It’s easy to book:

There will mostly be wine, but we can include olive tasting, honey tasting and liqueur tastings too, on request.

How many people in a bus?

We use mini buses so they are more intimate and personal, our buses have 11 seats, we also have an 8 seater bus.

We try to stick mainly with wineries that offer either a complimentary tasting, or a $5 PP fee.

While we try to keep tasting fees at a minimum for you, the tasting fees are at your own expense.

Private tours can be arranged if you buy 10 seats on the minibus.

Can we drink alcohol on the bus?

No! It is against the law. Luckily you don’t spend much time in the bus as all the Mudgee wineries are so close. We supply water and chips for you.
