Will I have to drive on my Mudgee Wine Tour?

No! We pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation, and we’re also available for evening transport to dinner (at an additional cost), so you don’t have to worry about driving at all, on the day of your Mudgee wine tour.

Are these tours OK for children?

Most of the Mudgee Explorer Tours are OK for kids, with the exception of the Mudgee wine tours, and Sunrise at Castle Rocks. These tours are designed for adults only.

Payment methods

You can pay into Mudgee Explorer Tours’ Paypal account.

Alternatively, Call Bronny to make a payment over the phone by credit or debit card.

Minimum deposit is payment for two people, at the time of booking. The rest of your group can pay on the day by cash or card.

Nature Tours

What if we have an emergency?

Your tour guide is qualified in providing first aid in remote situations.

We carry a first aid kit in the bus and also a smaller version is carried by the tour guide at all times.

The tour guide carries a satellite phone which works even when there is no mobile coverage. This phone has GPS co-ordinates so that emergency services can find us. If you need to be contactable during your tour, then talk to Bronny about a number that your mates can reach you on.

Toilet arrangements

For the Nature Tours, toilets are not always available in a some of the locations we will visit.

Toilet stops will be made at lunch time, and some of the sites have compost toilets.

We will accommodate where possible, but this is the bush! Hiding behind trees is the accepted way.

What happens if it rains

Mudgee Explorer Tours operates rain or shine. Be prepared, and bring layers and a good weather jacket. A good rule of thumb is that if it’s safe to go, we go!

Note: Tours may be cancelled in extreme weather, ie thunderstorms/hail/ bushfires, or if heavy rain has made gravel roads unsafe. If the tour is cancelled you will receive a full refund.
